Si è chiusa la stagione degli OLD FLAME. Il concerto di venerdì è stata un'esperienza emozionante per tutti e si ringrazia l'enorme partecipazione di pubblico accorso all'Ittolitto's per questa ultima data della band tributo ai Thin Lizzy. A breve un report fotografico della gig.
L'attività della band è ufficialemente sospesa a tempo indeterminato; si prenderanno in considerazione eventuali proposte di date ma solo per eventi di una certa importanza.
Il sito verrà mantenuto aggiornato con materiale video e notizie sui vari componenti della band.
Quindi.... rimanete sintonizzati!!

Un pò di news dopo un lungo periodo di silenzio.
Cominciamo con informarvi dell'attivazione della pagina OLD FLAME su myspace.com; qui di seguito l'indirizzo web completo: http://www.myspace.com/oldflametheband.
Registriamo il rientro, finalmente, di Alex Andriola al basso.
Ma per un protagonista che torna, uno che va..
Purtroppo, a seguito di una lunga riflessione, Sange, ha deciso di lasciare la band: dopo migliaia di chilometri macinati tra Bologna e Milano andata e ritorno, ora non ci sono più le condizioni per continuare.
La decisione ovviamente non ha niente a che vedere nè con il lato umano nè, tantomeno, con quello artistico.
La band per celebrare la fine della colaborazione ha deciso di organizzare un ultimo concerto con Sange alla voce che si terrà il 24.11 presso l'Ittolitto's di Milano, vera e propria "tana" dei Flames..
Il 20 novembre, in diretta dai Jungle Studios di Milano, grazie a rossoalice.it sarà possibile vedere "live" la band in sala prove per quanti in Italia e all'estero, non potranno essere presenti il 24.

Splendida serata al "Ride the Dragon". Grazie a tutti i ragazzi dell'Old Dragons ed ai Tyrant.
Gli OLD FLAME hanno chiuso lo stagione davvero con un ottimo evento e presentando qualche novità in scaletta al di fuori dal concetto Thin Lizzy.

E' stata una buona occasione per rientrare in attività la data del Fairyland dopo un lungo periodo di attesa. La band della vecchia fiamma ha presentato anche un pezzo dei Lizzy mai suonato prima "The Sun goes Down". Grazie ancora all'ottimo Andrea per aver reso possibile la serata e per la grande prestazione.

Grande successo per la band al Metal Festival di Brendola. Gli Old Flame sono stati veramente onorati di poter partecipare a questo grande evento. Conto alla rovescia quasi ultimato... La band è pronta per una performance degna dell'evento.
Alcune anticipazioni sulla scaletta che sarà composta anche da brani storici dei BLOODY SKIZZ ed altri inediti di recente composizione mai presentati "live" prima.

La band è impegnata nelle prove per l' 80's Italian Metal Festival di Vicenza che si terrà il 2 ottobre. L'avvenimento è di quelli da non perdere anche perchè gli OLD FLAME stanno preparando una scaletta speciale per questa data... Inoltre per l'occasione Alex Andriola tornerà a vestire i panni di bassista il che è certamente una garanzia.

Dopo un periodo di silenzio torniamo a parlare di OLD FLAME. La band è attualmente in pausa forzata in seguito all'abbandono di Alex Andriola che purtroppo non è più il bassista della band. Il suo apporto alla realizzazione di questo progetto è stato importantissimo sotto diversi aspetti e la perdita sia umana che tecnica è grande. Sono comunque aperte le audizioni e si profila già un sostituto assolutamente all'altezza, rimanete sintonizzati per le prossime news.
Fervono già i preparativi per la ripresa dell'attività live del gruppo che quasi certamente parteciperà all "80's Italian Metal Festival" in ottobre.

Fairyland "sold-out" per il concerto degli OLD FLAME.
Il plus della serata è stato certamente il duetto di Sange con Gianluca "Wildbike" Frascari dei Raw Pink su Whiskey in the Jar! Prossimo appuntamento il 6 maggio presso il Morgan's di Bellinzago Novarese.

E' passato molto tempo dagli ultimi aggiornamenti. Gli OLD FLAME sono rimasti lontani dalle scene nel mese di marzo ma l'attività è ricominciata sabato scorso presso il Last Heroes di Gallarate con una gig di supporto ai WHITE SKULL. Sabato prossimo (16.04) sarà il turno dell' Ittolitto's che vedrà la band impegnata in un concerto da headliner.

Grandi emozioni nel corso del viaggio in Irlanda per la "Due giorni Thin Lizzy". Flavio, Maurizio e Sange hanno avuto la possibilità di incontrare Philomena Lynott ed i collaboratori del Roisin Dubh Trust Fund oltre ai membri della band stessa al termine del concerto di mercoledì 16 a Dublino. A breve sarà aggiornata la sezione Pictures.
E' ora in vendita anche per l'Italia e l'Europa il cd Tribute to Thin Lizzy su Sweet Music. La prossima data del 25.02 presso il Morgan's è stata spostata al 06.05, mentre è stata aggiunta una nuova data per il 09.04 presso il Last Heroes di Gallarate dove gli OLD FLAME faranno da supporto ai WHITE SKULL !!! Dopo il successo di venerdì è stata fissata una nuova data presso il Fairyland. Gli OLD FLAME hanno proposto diverse novità in scaletta con qualche "sorpresa". Come richiesto dal locale, infatti, la band ha proposto anche qualche brano non-Lizzy ma comunque facente parte in qualche modo della storia della band irlandese. Ottima la versione di Zombie dei Cranberries che ha visto Arianna Ariaudo alla voce.
Altre nuove date all'orizzonte: rimanete sintonizzati!

Ozzie Adenborg e Robert Fitzpatrick hanno organizzato un'asta di "memorie" dei Thin Lizzy.
Fans da tutto il mondo hanno donato articoli per raccogliere denaro per le vittime del disastro nel sud-est asiatico.

E' andato nel migliore dei modi quello che dovrebbe essere l'ultimo concerto dell'anno per gli OLD FLAME. La band ha proposto il repertorio dei classici "Lizzy" con l'aggiunta di brani mai suonati prima come Hollywood, Massacre e Romeo and the lonely girl. Al prossimo appuntamento del 15 gennaio presso il Cougar's Pub ci saranno altre sorprese quindi vi aspettiamo!

Mancano pochi giorni all' evento del "Birthday Party" di Alex Andriola presso l'Ittolittos di Milano. Ci si aspetta un'ottima serata per la presenza anche di due delle band storiche in cui ha militato il bassista degli OLD FLAME: Bloody Skizz e Kandinsky. I primi proporranno una scaletta tributo ai Ramones i secondi invece eseguiranno i pezzi che avevano fruttato al gruppo la fama di una delle migliori rock band italiane emergenti a cavallo degli anni '80 - '90.
Alex sarà impegnato insieme a Flavio e Maurizio nel setlist di tutte e tre le band.

Dopo un lungo silenzio eccoci ad aggiornare nuovamente le pagine del sito. Ovviamente di novità ce ne sono tante... Innanzitutto le registrazioni sono concluse e il demo è veramente di ottima qualità. Queste le canzoni incise: SUICIDE, THE BOYS ARE BACK IN TOWN, BLACK ROSE, STILL IN LOVE WITH YOU, WAITING FOR AN ALIBI e COWBOY SONG. A breve saranno disponibili sul sito le anteprime dei brani. Anche da un punto di vista "live" si muovono le cose; già fissate un paio di date nel milanese in novembre e dicembre in aggiunta ad altre 3 date in Bologna in fase di definizione.
Ed infine è online la quarta parte di "Vota il Setlist"; nella terza vincono: Dancing in the Moonlight, Opium Trail e Killer without a cause.

The season of OLD FLAME is closed. The friday night concert was a great emotional experience for anyone and the band wants to thanks the huge partecipation of people attendant the last night of the Italian Thin Lizzy Tribute band.
Soon online a photo-report of the gig.
The band activity is officially and indefinitely on hold, proposals of possible gigs will be considered but only for events of a certain importance.
The website will be still mantained updated with video material and news about the band members.

A bunch of news after a long silence.
Let's start informing you of the activation of OLD FLAME's page st myspace.com; here is the complete web address: http://www.myspace.com/oldflametheband.
Finally we report the comeback of Alex Andriola bass guitar.
But for a protagonist who's returning, one who's leaving..
Unfortunately, after a long meditation, Sange decided to split from the band: after 1000's of miles driving from Bologna to Milan, his personal situation has changed and there aren't the conditions to continue anymore. Is clear that the decision is not on the personal side and not even on the artistic's.
To celebrate the end of the collaboration with Sange, the band decided to set a last concert with him on vocals. The gig will take place on the 24.11 at the l'Ittolitto's in Milan, which is a sort of the real "lair" of Flames..
On Nov 20th, through rossoalice.it and from the Jungle Studios in Milan, it will be possible to watch the band "live streaming" from rehearsal. This event is organized for all the people from different part of Italy and from abroad that are unable to partecipate on the last night the 24th.

The gig at Fairyland after a very long period of stand-by was a good occasion to be back in activity mode. The band of the old flame played a Lizzy song never performed before "The Sun goes Down". Many thanks again to Andrea without whom the gig would not had been possible and for the great performance too.

The countdown is almost done... The band is ready for a performance that will worth the event..

The band is rehearsing for the 80's Italian Metal Festival that will take place in Vicenza the 2nd of October. This is a great happening not to lose and OLD FLAME are working on a very special setlist for this event... Beside this the comeback of Alex Andriola who will get the duties of bass player... and that is a real warranty!

After a short period of silence we are back with some news on OLD FLAME. The band is on a hold due to the split with Alex Andriola that unfortunately is no longer the bass player of the Thin Lizzy Tribute act. His contribution to the realization of this project has been very important under various aspects and the loss, on human and technical side is large. In any case the audition are open already and the right substitute is already outlined. So stay tuned for further news.
The band is already planning the resumption of live activities and OLD FLAME will almost surely be part of "80's Italian Metal Festival" that will take place in october.

It's been a long time since last updates. OLD FLAME's had a break during March but they started again last saturday in Gallarate at the Last Heroes Music Pub with a gig as support act to WHITE SKULL.
Next saturday (16.04) the band will headline the gig at Ittolitto's in Milan.

Big emotions during the trip to Ireland for the "Two Thin Lizzy days". Flavio, Maurizio and Sange had the occasion to meet Philomena Lynott and her collaborators of the Roisin Dubh Trust Fund amongst the band members themselves at the end of wednesday 16th gig in Dublin. We will have soon a massive update in the Pictures section.

After the good gig of last friday at Fairyland a new date was set for april. OLD FLAME played some new numbers in the setlist with some "surprises" too. As requested by the owners of Fairyland the band performed some non-Lizzy songs in a certain way connected to the story of the irish band. A beautiful version of the Cranberries song Zombie with Arianna Ariaudo on lead vocals.

Everything has gone in the best way at the so called last concert of the year for OLD FLAME. Just a few days until the main event of Alex Andriola's "Birthday Party" at Ittolittos in Milan. We are loooking for a very good evening also for the presence in the bill of two bands coming from the past of OLD FLAME bass player: Bloody Skizz and Kandinsky. The first ones will play a tribute setlist to Ramones, while the seconds will propose part of the songs that gave them a great name between new italian rock bands in the years '80 - '90.
Alex will play together with Flavio and Maurizio the setlist of all the three bands.

Here we are with some updates after a very long period of silence. We have a bunch of good news... First of all the recordings are finished and the CD-demo is of a very good quality.
